Clive Johnson awarded 'Freedom of the City of London'

HCLG are very proud to announce that our Executive Committee Chair Clive Johnson has received the Freedom of the City of London Award.

Receiving the award is an incredible and fitting honour for Clive, who is actively involved in many campaigns across the City of London which focus on ensuring the health, safety and security of the city’s populace. In addition to his work with the HCLG, Clive is also involved in Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS), the Shaw Mind Foundation and numerous other initiatives as well as security related organisations such as National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).

Clive dedicates his time and knowledge as an advocate for health, safety and security related issues and the City have awarded him this award for his continuous commitment, which is a great accolade for Clive.

Other notable Freedom of the City recipients include Nelson Mandela, Florence Nightingale, Maggie Thatcher, Franklin D and Theodore Roosevelt.

Many congratulations to Clive.
