HCLG Webinar - New Year, New Focus

On 16th March 2023, The HCLG hosted it's latest webinar.

Co-Chairs Henrietta Frater and Simon Longbottom introduced the event and reminded us of the HCLG's revised strategy which was published in 2021. John Dunne (Wates) hosted an engaging respiratory health quiz, which was followed up by Denver Coulson (HSE) talking about the HSE's Asbestos Campaign. Jim Beeston (Balfour Beatty) challenged whether we are ready to 'take real action' on Mental Health? And George Mosey (Laing O'Rourke) shared some examples of where machinery has replaced manual handling, therefore reducing the risk of MSDs.
